This is the most popular tip. Thanks to the hydrokinetic activity produced by pulsation and pressure of the WaterJet Flosser it allows sub-gingival penetration of the solution into the sulcus or pocket.
Studies demonstrate the capacity of this tip to deliver the irrigation solution into the pocket up to 50% of its depth for 6mm pockets. For better efficiency of this tip, depth of penetration is better with the tip placed at a 90° angle to the long axis of the tooth versus a 45° angle.
Begin in the molar area and follow always same pattern in a linear fashion following the gingival margin throughout your mouth. Hold the Standard Jet Tip in place at the interproximal area for a few seconds. This allows adequate penetration of the solution into the gingival sulcus or pocket. Make sure that all areas are irrigated from both the buccal and lingual regions.

The Perio Jet Tip has been designed for low-pressure delivery. This tip has a soft gentle rubber that provides localized delivery to a precise site such as a deep pocket, molar furcation, implant, crown or bridge. Because the Perio Jet Tip is site-specific, you need to know exactly where in the mouth it should be used.
Various studies demonstrate the capacity of this tip to deliver the irrigation solution into the pocket up to 90% of its depth for 6mm pockets. For pockets 7 mm or greater, depth of penetration is 64%.
When using the Perio Jet Tip, turn the WaterJet Flosser to the lowest pressure setting.If the user forgets, the pressure will still emit at 20 psi, although this may shorten the life of the unit.
ORTHO JET TIP

Plaque around brackets can cause decalcification (white spots) on your teeth. The Ortho Jet Tip is specially designed for patient with braces. The tapered brush helps removing hard-to-reach plaque around orthodontic brackets and wires.
Use the Ortho Jet Tip the same way than the Standard Jet Tip following the gingival gum line throughout your mouth, but for each tooth lightly brush the area between the teeth and the gum and all around the orthodontic bracket. It also helps flush out bacteria and food debris from around the teeth and under the gums.
TONGUE CLEANER

The Tongue Cleaner is designed to remove bacteria that causes bad breath. The contoured spoon shape effectively traps and removes bacteria with a gentle scraping and flushing action, on the hard-to-reach back area of the tongue. Daily use can help prevent halitosis.
